    FAQ

What NDIS supports can participants claim for therapy services?

Participants can claim for evidence-based supports including occupational therapy, positive behaviour support, sensory integration, neurofeedback, and specialised support coordination. Supports must align with the participant's goals and be deemed reasonable and necessary under the NDIS framework.

Do you customise sessions for different service models?

Yes — content is tailored to your participants, workforce and service model. We understand that every organisation has unique needs, and we adapt our approach to best support your team and the individuals you serve.

Can you join our PBS panel as a practitioner?

Yes — we can chair or participate, and provide action logs and follow-ups. Our PBS practitioners are experienced in collaborative panel work and ensure comprehensive documentation and accountability throughout the process. Learn more about PBS capability requirements from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission PBS Capability Framework.

Do you supervise provisional PBS practitioners?

Yes — individual or group supervision options are available. We provide structured supervision to support provisional practitioners working toward full registration, with flexible arrangements to suit your organisation's needs.

What documentation and reporting do you provide?

We provide comprehensive reports including initial assessments, progress notes, therapy plans, PBS plans, and functional capacity reports. All documentation meets NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards and supports evidence-based practice requirements.

Can participants switch to your services mid-plan?

Yes, participants have choice and control over their providers. If a participant wishes to switch, we work collaboratively with current providers for smooth transitions, review existing documentation, and ensure continuity of care. No permission from the NDIA is required for switching providers.

What is the difference between plan-managed and self-managed funding?

Plan-managed participants use a plan manager who pays invoices on their behalf, offering flexibility to choose any registered or unregistered provider. Self-managed participants manage their own funding and claims, submitting invoices directly to the NDIA. Both options provide choice and control; we support participants regardless of their funding management approach.

How do you determine if a support is "reasonable and necessary"?

Supports must meet several criteria: they must relate to the participant's disability, represent value for money, be likely to be effective and beneficial, take into account informal supports available, and be appropriately funded under the NDIS rather than other service systems (health, education, etc.). We assess each request against these criteria to ensure compliance and best outcomes.

    What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee as per our service agreement. We understand that emergencies occur and assess each situation individually, prioritising ongoing support relationships and participant wellbeing.

Do you travel to participants' homes or community settings?

Yes, we provide therapy in clinic, home, school, and community environments. Therapy location is determined by participant goals and the most appropriate setting for skill development. Travel is charged according to NDIS pricing arrangements and participant plan budgets.
