How we use AI
At Morph Therapy Services, we use a small number of artificial intelligence (AI) and automated tools to reduce paperwork, so our therapists can spend more time with the people we support. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the automated decision-making transparency rules that apply from 10 December 2026, the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Our commitments
People decide, not AI
Our clinicians make every clinical decision. AI never decides your supports, goals, behaviour support strategies, restrictive practices or NDIS funding recommendations.
Your choice
We ask before using AI note tools in your sessions. Saying no never changes your service, and you can change your mind at any time.
Privacy first
We only use approved tools. We never put your information into free or public AI apps, and we remove names and identifying details when AI helps with writing.
Checked by a person
Every AI-drafted note or document is reviewed and corrected by your therapist before it is saved or shared.
Where we use AI
Session notes
With your consent, AI features in our secure client system (Splose) can help draft session notes. Your therapist checks and signs every note.
Writing support
AI writing assistants may help with the wording and layout of letters, resources and reports, using de-identified information only. Clinical findings and recommendations are always written by your therapist.
Staff onboarding
Our staff portal uses rule-based automation to organise job applications and onboarding paperwork. People make all hiring decisions.
Automated decisions
Morph Therapy Services does not use computer programs to make decisions about participants, families or staff. If this ever changes, we will update our privacy policy and this page before the change starts, as required by the Privacy Act.
Your rights
- Ask us which tools are used in your support.
- Say yes or no to AI note-taking. We send a short AI information and consent form with your Service Agreement.
- Change your mind or withdraw consent at any time.
- Ask us to stop recording at any time during a session.
- Access and correct the information we hold about you.
